Empathic Poet Society
Welcome to The Empathic Poet Society
Poetry for the parts of us that are hurting, healing, questioning, surviving, and still trying to be understood.
Empathic Poet Society is a place for poems about anxiety, depression, invisible struggles, wolves, difficult relationships, work, loneliness, survival, and the quiet battles people fight every day.
Some poems are dark. Some are hopeful. Some live in the space between.
If you have ever felt misunderstood, exhausted, overwhelmed, numb, or lost in your own mind, you are not alone here.
It takes an empath to truly understand an empath.
It takes someone who has survived narcissistic abuse to understand the confusion, self-doubt, and pain that comes with it.
It takes someone who lives with anxiety and depression to understand the invisible weight, the exhaustion, the fear, and the loneliness that others often cannot see.
Many struggles are difficult to explain to people who have never experienced them. Too often, those who suffer are misunderstood, dismissed, or told to simply move on.
This space was created for those who know what it is like to carry invisible pain.
We understand.
We feel your pain.
And again, you are not alone.

About the Authors
We write for the people who feel everything too deeply.
For the people who carry invisible pain.
For the people who smile in public and fall apart in private.
For the people who have spent years surviving things no one else could see.
These poems are not written to impress. They are written to be honest.
If even one poem makes someone feel understood, then it was worth writing.
